Production Designer's Lookbook
Kat's lookbook was easily identifiable and grounded. The story called for a very homely and familiar atmosphere. Kat's leadership was excellent, and her detailed visuals made for a very fast-paced job given UNCSA's quick turnaround time.
Pre-production
After some issues with the factory location, we resorted to shooting in our working woodshop on UNCSA campus. BOX's art department came in the Friday before production to build boxes, "pack" furniture, and purposefully clutter the shop. By late day, the set looked like a working shipping facility. Since our set was an active school woodshop, we wrapped it the following day and left it better than we found. Huge thanks to our shop foreman for his permission to film in the space and to production members for helping us wrap out as fast as possible.
